About UNICEF

UNICEF is the world’s leading organisation working for children.

UNICEF works in more than 150 countries to make sure children all over the world have the education, health care and food they need. It also protects children from being badly treated.

In the UK, UNICEF raises money to help children in poorer countries, and campaigns for a better world for children everywhere.

UNICEF UK also works with schools, youth groups and young people to make sure all children know about their rights.

The name UNICEF stands for the United Nations Children’s Fund.
